Il 9 gennaio 2006 esce finalmente dalla fase alpha questo sito! (non voglio ancora toglierlo dalla fase beta prima di aver collaudato l’interazione con un numero significativo di sottoscrittori, ma diciamo che sono fiducioso). Come potete vedere facendovi un rapido giro ho voluto mettere in piedi uno strumento di lavoro in rete. Un luogo dove condividere l’esperienza di ricerca nel campo della tecnologia applicata. Di seguito una breve descrizione delle sezioni del sito, breve perché troverete informazioni più dettagliate nelle varie sezioni e all’interno del Wiki.
- In primis c’è il Blog, che nella mia idea vuole sostituire l’email come mezzo di distribuzione di informazioni. L’email è troppo dispersiva e difetta di una vera e propria condivisione dell’informazione. Usando il Blog invece sia i post che i quanto mai preziosi commenti rimarranno archiviati a memoria di quanto discusso. Ho usato la piattaforma WordPress, la più diffusa e decisamente la migliore. Una nota a margine ma molto importante: alcuni post sono accessibili solo agli utenti registrati con un adeguato livello d’accesso. Come strumento di lavoro per l’appunto ho voluto che mi consentisse di gestire scambi d’informazioni in contesti ristretti. Ho aggiunto anche uno strumento di notifica via mail dei nuovi post, per chi vuole essere informato su quando vengono pubblicate delle novità senza dover passare tutti i giorni per questo sito.
- Ci sono quindi i Feeds, ovvero tutte le fonti d’infomazione su Internet che consulto quotidianamente per tenermi informato. C’è un motore lato server che ogni 20 minuti aggiorna le informazioni: il mio consiglio è di tornare a leggerle almeno un paio di volte al giorno. Naturalmente se ci sono delle fonti che ritenete interessanti e che non vedete incluse nell’elenco delle fonti vi prego di segnalarmele!
- C’è quindi il Wiki (ho utilizzato la piattaforma MediaWiki, quella di Wikipedia) che funge da raccoglitore di definizioni. Una sorta di dizionario evoluto che mi permette di tenere ordinate tutte le “spiegazioni” di termini e concetti complessi legati alla tecnologia. Il Wiki è uno strumento aperto: non esitate quindi a contribuire alla sua alimentazione.
- Nella sezione Bookmarks troverete un elenco aggiornato dei miei bookmark che nient’altro sono che l’elenco dei siti Internet che scopro/consulto per avere nuove informazioni sugli argomenti di studio. I bookmarks sono gestiti con la piattaforma del.icio.us e sono quindi aperti e condivisi. Anche qui è fondamentale la vostra collaborazione: se trovate siti interessanti sugli argomenti che stiamo trattando segnalateli senza indugio.
- Ci sono infine i Tags, l’anima dell’Internet Semantica. Ogni contenuto che pubblico viene corredato da alcune “parole chiave” i cosiddetti tags. I Tags arricchiscono il contenuto dandogli per l’appunto un valore semantico. E’ possibile quindi navigare i contenuti di questo sito per Tag e quindi per micro-argomento, cosi come è possibile verificare cosa si dice sullo stesso all’interno di altri motori semantici.

Sono convinto che Web2.0 sarà un prossimo importante passo nell’evoluzione della tecnologia di rete applicata alle grandi masse. In Italia se ne parla ancora molto molto poco.
